This washed Geisha was produced by Jose Felipe Cahuachinchay on his farm, La Lima, in the high-elevation coffee community of Alto Ihuamaca, San Ignacio. While Geisha is often cultivated in small quantities due to its low yields, a full third of La Lima’s five hectares are dedicated to Geisha production, a testament to Felipe’s commitment to the famously elegant variety. As espresso, this coffee presents a sweet and refined profile with notes of black currant, clove, and dried dates.
